Job Details REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES : Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the Psychiatric patient population Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education QUALIFICATIONS: Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Nursing New Graduate Registered Nurses are welcome 1+ Years of RN experience working in Psychiatry/Behavioral Health/Mental Health preferred New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) required Salary Range USD $55.13 - USD $64.36 /Hr. St. Catherine of Siena Hospital is the largest in-patient psychiatric facility in Suffolk County, St. Catherine's Department of Psychiatry provides holistic, patient-centered care and advocacy services for adults aged 18 and older with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. Conditions treated include schizophrenia, and bipolar and depressive disorder conditions.
