Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our vibrant and welcoming TCU and LTC team! This position performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.

 

This nursing schedule includes; 

  • 16 hours per two weeks 
  • Day shift
  • Every other weekend (sat/sunday) and holidays rotation


Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, MN near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing long term care, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an amazing team of tenured staff! The only thing missing is YOU!  Martin Luther Care Center was named Top Nursing Home and Transitional Care Center by US News and World Reports the past two years.   

 


Duties:

Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed
Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans

 

 

 

Required:

MN LPN licensure
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Able to work independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills

 


Preferred:

Previous healthcare experience
Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
