Position Overview:

The RN Supervisor at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Rome plays a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care, overseeing staff, collaborating with physicians, and providing both physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify patient service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual patients, as well as others in a position to understand service needs.
Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Provide information to patients and the healthcare team by answering questions and addressing requests. Resolve patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations. Seek assistance from other healthcare professionals as needed.
Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies, enforcing medication administration, and ensuring compliance with controlled substance regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality by monitoring the secure processing of confidential information.
Ensure proper documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
Oversee medical and administrative equipment by verifying the availability of emergency equipment, completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating repairs.
Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving.

Requirements:

Current NYS RN Licensure (BSN preferred but not required).
Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings.
Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.

$7500.00 Sign on Bonus *Now offering Same-DAY Pay* Full-Time Schedule: Mon-Fri. 7a-3p Salary: $95,000-$105,000 Position Summary: The Interventional Care (I-Care)/Wound Care is responsible for overseeing and auditing nursing and restorative care tasks, ensuring compliance with documentation, orders, and care plans. This role involves providing direct care in areas such as intravenous therapy, respiratory therapy, and restorative rehab, while also supporting fellow nurses performing related therapies or treatments. Responsibilities Include: Resident Assessment: Upon admission, readmission, and reevaluation, assess each resident’s respiratory status, risk factors, and needs relevant to nursing, rehabilitation, and intravenous treatment, in collaboration with an RN and medical professional. Initiate Orders and Care Plans: Initiate all appropriate orders, tasks, consults, and care plans for respiratory, nursing, restorative, and intravenous therapies as necessary.
