Responsibilities

The RN Occupational Health provides services to protect and ensure the health and safety of all employees. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The RN Occupational Health responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Processes employment release forms after employment physical and refers applicants to various physicians as necessary
  • Provides health screening and related services including annual health testing as required by state and other governing agencies
  • Evaluates and treats minor injuries or illnesses of employees during working hours
  • Evaluates employees returning to work with more that 3 days absence due to illness or from medical leave of absence
  • Participates in drug screening of employees participating in Substance Abuse Contracts. Reports to EH Manager, Human Resources and the Oklahoma Board of Nursing Registration if applicable
  • Responds to requests from supervisors and Department Directors regarding health counseling for employees
  • Determines OSHA Form 200 application of potential exposures and TB skin tests Reports to the leader as assigned This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Please consult the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for additional information. Some exposure to blood, body fluids, needlesticks, contagious diseases, alcohol, and betadine. Hazards are minimal if safety precautions are utilized. Some exposure to noxious odors and conditions. Provides patient care for ill employees. Must wear universal protective clothing. Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
