Join our dedicated team at Marlora Post Acute Rehabilitation Hospital, where we provide comprehensive and effective care to our patients. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in our team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and treatment.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Marlora Post Acute Rehabilitation Hospital, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our patients, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition. You will also develop and implement individualized care plans based on our patients' needs and goals, coordinate care with other healthcare team members, and ensure that all documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and current.
We have 3PM-11PM shift available, Thursday-Sunday & 11PM-7AM shift available for 4-2 schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure that all documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and current.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate patients and families about their healthcare needs and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility.
Requirements:
• Valid and current RN license in the state of California
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting
• Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
