Overview

CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant

Elderwood at Waverly

Skilled Nursing & Long Term Care

Local Opportunity. Meaningful Work. Room to Grow.

At Elderwood at Waverly, CNAs do more than complete a list of daily tasks. You are often the person who notices the small changes, provides reassurance during a difficult day, helps someone regain confidence, and makes sure residents feel known, respected, and comfortable.

We are seeking kind, dependable, and collaborative Certified Nursing Assistants to provide hands-on care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. Whether you are beginning your CNA career or bringing years of experience, you can build meaningful relationships, strengthen your clinical observation skills, and contribute to a team where communication and accountability matter.

CNA Pay and Scheduling - Maximize Your Earnings

  • Shift differentials for qualifying evening, weekend, and overnight hours - up to $3.00 per hour

  • Additional premium-pay opportunities for eligible employees who opt out of certain elective benefits

  • Full-time, part-time, and every-other-weekend scheduling options

Ask our recruitment team to explain the available compensation programs and how your experience, shift, schedule, and benefit elections may affect your individual rate.

Available Shifts

  • Days: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

  • Evenings: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

  • Overnights: 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

More Than Traditional Long-Term Care

Elderwood at Waverly is a skilled nursing community serving long-term residents, individuals with memory-care needs, and short-stay rehabilitation patients transitioning from hospital to home.

Our clinical teams care for individuals recovering from illness, injury, surgery, orthopedic procedures, and cardiac conditions. Facility capabilities include IV therapy, PICC-line management, wound-vac therapy, complex wound and ostomy care, enteral feeding, and dialysis coordination.

As a CNA, you will not be responsible for performing licensed-nursing treatments. You will play an essential role in the care team by assisting with daily needs, observing and reporting changes, supporting mobility and recovery goals, and communicating closely with nurses and rehabilitation professionals.

This is a strong environment for CNAs who want exposure to a clinically active post-acute setting while developing the observation, communication, and resident-care skills that create a strong foundation for continued healthcare growth.

Build a Healthcare Career at Elderwood at Waverly

A CNA position can be both meaningful work today and the beginning of a longer healthcare career.  At Elderwood, CNAs gain valuable experience working directly with residents, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and clinical leaders. Tuition-reimbursement programs are available to help eligible employees pursue additional education and future opportunities.

Whether you want to become a stronger and more experienced CNA or eventually pursue a career as an LPN, RN, educator, or nurse leader, Elderwood offers an environment where your growth can be recognized and supported.

Apply Today

CNA work is active, hands-on, and deeply important. The right candidate will bring compassion - but also reliability, observation, teamwork, and a willingness to be accountable to residents and coworkers.
