As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

 

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing Facility We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and help ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nurse leader who enjoys developing teams, improving clinical outcomes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and creating a positive culture of care . The ideal candidate is a hands-on, visible leader who can support their team, hold staff accountable, and work collaboratively with facility leadership. Position Summary The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall leadership and clinical direction of the nursing department. The DON will oversee nursing operations, staffing, clinical quality, staff development, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, care planning, and quality improvement while partnering closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership team.
