Make an impact as a school-based LPN supporting a dedicated student in the Las Vegas area! This is a contract opportunity, beginning as soon as possible through late May 2026, offering full-time hours in a rewarding educational setting. Your role will center around providing one-on-one support to a student with trach care needs, giving vital nursing assistance and ensuring their well-being throughout the school day.

Ideal Background & Licensure:

Current, unencumbered LPN or LVN license
Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
Experience with pediatric populations, especially in a school or similar environment
Skills in tracheostomy care and monitoring are highly desired
Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor in urgent situations
Commitment to compassionate care and student safety

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, one-on-one skilled nursing care to an elementary-aged student
Monitor, assess, and document health status and interventions
Administer medication, manage trach care, and respond to medical needs
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and family to support student integration
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Participate in emergency drills and safety protocols as needed
Fulfill timely credentialing requirements including a district background check and drug screening
