We are seeking reliable and compassionate Caregivers (CNAs/HHAs) to join our team in the Wentzville, MO area. We are looking for a care giver on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work opportunities, including short-term patient assignments, call-off coverage, and supplemental hours.   This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence.  The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.    Shift: 42 hours PRN / Flexible Scheduling 6 Hours Daily Non-Skilled Care Coverage. PRN position as needed and for short term patient assignments    Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.  

Responsibilities

  • Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record.
  • Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies.
  • Performs patient assessments, coordination of care.
  • Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home.
  • Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one.
  • Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients.
  • Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.

Requirements

  • Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test
  • Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients.
  • Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
