About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our evening shift team at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an Evening CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their independence, and supporting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, vital signs, and personal care

  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control practices

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification in the state of New York

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and dignity

We are especially interested in candidates who are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) , as this role involves direct interaction with residents and supporting their care needs. The Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and community outings, while also assisting with scheduling and ensuring residents feel supported and cared for during transport. Shifts Available: Full-Time Responsibilities: Safely operate the facility vehicle to transport residents to physician visits, dialysis, therapy, and other necessary appointments. Escort and assist residents during pick-up and drop-off to ensure safety and comfort. Coordinate and schedule resident transportation and appointments.
