Responsibilities:
  • Be a Pillar of Support: You'll conduct thorough assessments, ensuring each patient receives personalized, comprehensive care.

  • Prepare and provide clear, compassionate clinical notes and charting that tell the patient's story.
Qualifications:
  • A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
  • A willingness to travel, bringing care directly to patients' homes.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Ability to pass a state & federal background check, ensuring trust and safety.
  • Malpractice Insurance is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, coupled with a warm, empathetic approach.

Overview Department: Inpatient Wound Care Shift’s Available: Days Employment Type: Per Diem/PRN Hours: 8hr – 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: St Mary's Medical Center - Blue Springs, MO We are seeking an Inpatient Wound Care RN, which is also referred to as a Wound Care, Ostomy, or Continence Nurse (WOC). The Wound Care RN will specialize in assessing and treating skin breakdown and wounds in a clinic setting. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will also be consulted during a patients stay in a hospital for a wound or pressure injury, we are also consulted for ostomy care. The Wound Care RN will also be responsible for determining the proper course of treatment and interacting with services in the community to continually care for the wound care patient.
