Full-time School Nurse (RN) needed near Easton, MD

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile student in a middle school setting in Easton, Maryland. This is a full-time school-based opportunity for the current school year through June 2027.

Position Details

Location: Easton, MD
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 16, 2027
Hours: 3537 hours per week
Setting: Middle School
Position: 1:1 School Nurse
Student Needs: Medically fragile student requiring G-tube and tracheostomy care
Support: Work alongside a second nurse who will also provide support to the student

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day
Monitor the student's medical status and respond to healthcare needs
Provide G-tube and tracheostomy care as needed
Administer medications and treatments according to the student's care plan
Collaborate with school staff, the student's healthcare team, and the second nurse
Maintain accurate nursing documentation
Ensure the student's safety and ability to participate in the school environment

Qualifications

Active Maryland RN license required
Previous experience with medically fragile students preferred
Experience with G-tube and tracheostomy care preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based environment
