Qualifications & Credentials:

• Active Georgia LPN/LVN license
• School-based nursing experience preferred
• Previous pediatric nursing or 1:1 care a bonus
• Must meet any additional district or state requirements for school nursing roles
• Capable of bus riding to and from school with the assigned student
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care and support to a student with health needs throughout the school day
• Accompany your assigned student on the school bus as required
• Maintain accurate health records and administer medications per care plan
• Communicate updates and concerns to school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers as appropriate
• Participate in school health team meetings as needed
