This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing specialized care, and helping patients heal and improve their quality of life. Position Overview: The Wound Healing RN provides direct nursing care to patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds. This position works closely with physicians and other members of the wound care team to assess patients, implement treatment plans, provide education, and monitor healing progress. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive wound assessments and document wound characteristics, measurements, treatment, and patient progress. Provide wound care and dressing changes according to physician orders and established clinical protocols. Assist physicians and providers during wound care procedures and treatments. Monitor patients for signs of infection, complications, or changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly. Provide patient and family education regarding wound care, infection prevention, nutrition, pressure relief, and treatment compliance.
