This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students and staff, fostering a safe and healthy school environment. Youll work 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, with immediate start through June 25, 2027. With two openings available, youll join a cooperative environment dedicated to student well-being.

Your qualifications and background should include:

  • Active and valid School Nursing NJ licensure (RN onlyLPNs cannot be considered)
  • Demonstrated school-based nursing experience
  • Familiarity and comfort working across an entire district
  • Reliable transportation, with proximity for a reasonable commute
  • Willingness to service a diverse caseload and oversee multiple school buildings
  • Ability to complete onboarding: TB screening, physical examination, and fingerprinting (for both agency and district)

In this role, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Providing school nursing services to students across the district, handling a variety of health needs
  • Managing confidential student health records and emergency care protocols
  • Overseeing the healthcare needs of entire school buildings, including routine medical care and emergency response
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student learning and well-being
