Unit Manager/Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN)

Highland Sqaure is looking for a Unit Manager/Wound Care Nurse to care for our Residents and facilitate their speedy recovery. The candidate will be part of the professional Nursing Administrative Team. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care. The goal is to promote the patient’s well-being by providing high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities of Unit Manager:
Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
Observe and interpret Residents symptoms and communicate them to physicians
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
Valid nursing license

REQUIREMENTS OF WOUND CARE NURSE:

As the Wound Nurse, you must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with patients, families, physicians, community resources, and the general public.
Must have a valid OH Nursing license
Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Wound Nurse preferred, Unit Manager/Nursing Supervisor in Long Term Care experience may be considered
