Your primary role will be to supervise on-the-job learning sessions for high school students pursuing Certified Nurse Assisting (Nurse Aide) certification. The assignment covers two key time periods: morning (8:00-10:00 am) and early afternoon (12:00-2:00 pm), on an as-needed basis for the full school year. Your guidance will be pivotal whenever teachers are absent, ensuring students receive the clinical support they require.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing meaningful, valid clinical experiences for nurse assisting students
  • Collaborate with classroom instructors to create an effective clinical instruction schedule
  • Supervise students in an 8:1 clinical environment, fostering skill development and confidence
  • Coordinate all aspects of the clinical experience with school and agency personnel
  • Assess and report on each student's clinical progress
  • Provide feedback and additional support as needed
  • Engage in other related duties upon request from the Nurse Aide Teacher
