Your Job:
Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 2 years of RN experience in a critical care setting.

JOB TITLE : Preop/PACU RN (PRN) GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Assists in the provision of nursing care to pediatric patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with the physician's orders and center's policies. Demonstrates ability to assess pediatric patient status on admission to the preop area, the operating room, and/or the PACU area and on a continuing basis. Utilizes the nursing process for patient assessment, problem identification, and any interventions. Prepares patients for surgical procedures. Physiologically monitors patients during procedures as required. Administers and documents medications, solutions, and treatments as prescribed.
