We are seeking a RN - Med/Surg for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking nurses who feel patient care is as meaningful as we do.

Position Details:

  • Shift - Full Time Days
  • Hours - 36 per week, 12 hour shifts
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Hire with an 18-Month Commitment
  • Pay Range: $34.48 - $43.10 (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

  • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
  • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Qualifications:

  • Requires an Associate degree and is certified as a registered nurse.
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Active Nursing Licensure in the State of Nevada.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). Monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. The purpose of the Nurse Case Manager role is to provide consistent nursing leadership for interdisciplinary bedside rounding, care coordination, ensuring timely, patient-centered, and well-organized transitions of care for hospitalized patients. This position serves as the central point of coordination between hospitalists, patients, nursing, case management, and ancillary services to proactively identify and remove barriers to discharge, support patient flow, and enhance communication across the care team. The Nurse Case Manager supports regulatory compliance, improves discharge efficiency, promotes patient engagement, and contributes to reduced length of stay, improved patient experience, and safe continuity of care across the healthcare continuum.
