Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LPN/LVN license
  • Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or with children preferred
  • CPR certification and knowledge of emergency first aid procedures

  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, staff, parents, and students
  • Calm, compassionate approach and strong communication skills
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physicians orders
  • Monitor and assess student health concerns, providing care for illnesses and minor injuries
  • Support management of chronic conditions such as diabetes or asthma
  • Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization compliance
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
  • Educate students and staff about health and wellness practices
  • Assist or collaborate with paraprofessionals and other support staff as needed
