School Registered Nurse (RN) in New London, NH

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license in New Hampshire (NH)
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of assessing pediatric health needs and maintaining accurate records
  • Comfortable administering medication and providing various forms of medical treatment to children
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with school staff
  • School onboarding requirements will include fingerprint clearance prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and respond to the current health needs of the elementary student population
  • Maintain confidential student health records in compliance with district standards
  • Administer medication and treatment as prescribed
  • Serve as a medical resource for students, staff, and parents regarding health concerns
  • Collaborate with other educational professionals, supporting student achievement
  • Provide age-appropriate health education and emergency care when necessary
