School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Newport, New Hampshire

As an RN in an elementary environment, you'll be tasked with assessing student health needs, maintaining thorough and accurate medical records, administering medications, and providing essential medical care as situations arise. You'll serve as a central figure in promoting a safe, healthy learning environment and be part of a collaborative school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in New Hampshire (required prior to start)
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, school staff, and families
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining confidentiality
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and address current health needs across the elementary student population
  • Administer medications according to school protocols
  • Provide timely treatment for injuries or illnesses occurring during school hours
  • Keep and update individual student health records in compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure ongoing student wellness

Overview Clinical Research Nurse II performs a full range of clinical and non-clinical research duties, and has a working knowledge of the clinical research process and the regulations that govern it. As licensed professionals with clinical research experience, they perform patient related care independently, including medical assessments, symptom management, and referrals, within the scope of their licensure. With the oversight of the PI or their designee, they perform progressively more complex and comprehensive clinical research duties at an ever-increasing level of independence, working closely with the Principal Investigator (PI). They work under supervision, but with more autonomy than an entry level position. Responsibilities Research Operations Provide patient care to inpatients and outpatients receiving investigational therapy, occasionally requiring tasks outside of standard operating hours.
