School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Austin, Texas

Assignment Details:

  • Contract position, starting ASAP and continuing through May 21, 2027
  • Work setting is strictly onsite, contributing to a collaborative school-based team
  • Schedule consists of 4 hours per shift, 3-4 days per week (specific days/hours to be confirmed)
  • Interviews for qualified candidates are available quicklythe district is ready to meet with you the week of 10/5
  • Registered Nurses licensed in Texas can expect competitive pay ranging from $70 to $82 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Texas RN certification/licensure is required
  • Prior experience in school nursing, with a focus on student-centered care, is a plus
  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and creating a safe environment for students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 nursing care support for a student, including medication administration and care plan management
  • Monitor and address the students ongoing health needs during attendance at the Adult Transition Services Camp
  • Work collaboratively with staff, families, and relevant care providers
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school health policies
