Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts
  • Experience working with pediatrics, ideally within a school or similar environment
  • Confident in providing 1:1 care to children and adolescents, including those requiring health monitoring or medical interventions
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to assigned students, ranging from grades 1 to 5 and grades 9 to 10
  • Support students with chronic or acute medical needs, including medication administration or treatments during the school day
  • Implement individualized healthcare plans developed with school medical teams and families
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies or health concerns
  • Keep thorough, confidential documentation of care provided and any changes in students’ health
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in the classroom and throughout the school
