Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid New Jersey RN license required
• Prior professional experience as a School Nurse is essential

• Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive health services including first aid, chronic care management, and medication administration to students across various schools
• Conduct routine health screenings, immunization compliance checks, and maintain accurate health records
• Act as a health resource and advocate for students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement healthcare plans
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed
• Support the creation of a safe, healthy, and inclusive school environment through education, awareness, and prevention initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to state, federal, and district regulations
