About the Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at St. John Neumann Center for Rehab and Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs, and medication management

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress

  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Supporting patients with rehabilitation goals and activities

  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation

  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses

  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including use of equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers

  • Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress

Requirements:

  • Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
