Join Indiana University Health as a Registered Nurse in Neurology Ambulatory and become part of a collaborative, patient-focused team dedicated to providing exceptional neurological care. In this outpatient role, you'll build meaningful relationships with patients while managing triage calls, providing symptom management support, and coordinating care alongside six neurologists and one advanced practice provider. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility for either traditional 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. shifts or four 10-hour days. Our team values creativity, open communication, and strong engagement, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN with at least one year of nursing experience who is confident, decisive, and eager to learn and grow within Indiana's leading healthcare system.
Qualification:
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. - Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
- Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
