What You'll Do

The Sub-Acute Registered Nurse (RN) delivers specialized, high-quality nursing care to residents with complex, chronic, and long-term medical conditions in a sub-acute care setting. This role is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes and quality of life.The RN utilizes advanced clinical skills and therapeutic equipment to provide comprehensive nursing care while collaborating closely with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members. Through effective communication and clinical expertise, the RN ensures seamless coordination of care across the continuum and advocates for the physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being of residents and their families.

Qualifications

  •  Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
  •  Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • At least 1 year RN experience in a Sub-Acute or Acute hospital setting
  •  AHA Basic Life Support
  •  Pediatric Advanced Life Support 
  •  Pediatric experience or completion of a pediatric course within 1 year of employment 
  •  Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  •  Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  •  Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment


Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is $42.00 - $60.00 hourly. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
  • 12-hour shift = 8 hours at base rate.  Hours over 8 in a 12-hour shift are 1.5x base
