Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

  • Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

  • Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

  • Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

  • A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

  • Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

This part time position is scheduled for 20 hours per week and includes a weekend rotation every three weeks. Holiday requirements include one summer holiday, one winter holiday eve, and one winter holiday day annually. This position requires flexibility to provide coverage at the King of Prussia and/or Bucks County Urgent Care locations based on clinical and operational needs. Pediatric, urgent care, and/or emergency medicine experience is preferred. The Urgent Care Nurse is a clinically competent practitioner of pediatric, family-centered nursing. The nurse at this level provides safe nursing care to the general unit population with minimal guidance and bases practice on identified principles and standards of care. What you will do Nursing Practice Follows Nursing Process to deliver safe care: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Synthesizes patient assessment data and recognizes complex situations prior to communicating with care team.
