Naperville Surgical Centre is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead our Nursing Department and support our commitment to exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency.

 

Naperville Surgical Centre is a Joint Commission-accredited ambulatory surgery center serving the community for more than 30 years. Our state-of-the-art facility features four modern operating rooms and supports a wide range of specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, pain management, podiatry, and urology. Position Summary

The Nurse Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for the Nursing Department, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. This role oversees nursing staff, monitors quality and regulatory standards, and partners with physicians and leadership to drive excellence across the center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Department.
  • Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff to foster a positive, high-performing culture.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant patient care from admission through discharge.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor staffing, workflow, and resource utilization to ensure operational excellence.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing team members.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in an ambulatory surgery center, operating room, PACU, or perioperative services.
  • BSN degree.
  • CNOR or other relevant clinical certification.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensure in the State
  • Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course.
  • CNOR preferred
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred.
