Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Licensure: Current Missouri RN/LPN Temporary Permit or RN/LPN License

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) through the American Heart Association


Physical Requirements:
•    Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
•    Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
•    Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Practical Nursing Instructor (Founding Faculty) About the Opportunity A well-established, career-focused school is opening a new campus in the St. Louis Metro East area and bringing its Practical Nursing (PN) program there. The school is hiring one of the first instructors for the new campus. You will help start the program, teach and mentor the first group of LPN students, and set the tone for every class that follows. Plan and teach lectures and hands-on skills labs for the first class, and create an encouraging, engaging place to learn. Testing and Feedback. Write, give, and grade exams and skills checks.
