
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Saint Francis, MN

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid Minnesota LPN license required
- Active CPR/AED certification required
- Minimum of 2 years experience supporting pediatric patients, with demonstrated skill in tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Prior background in school, pediatric, or home health nursing is highly desirable
- Commitment to upholding individualized healthcare plans and maintaining precise documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working alongside healthcare and educational teams
- Ability and willingness to ride the school bus with the student as part of daily transportation support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver dedicated nursing support throughout the school day as directed by the students care plan
- Monitor tracheostomy and provide suctioning as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of care provided and any observations or interventions
- Communicate effectively with school health services, staff, and the students family to ensure continuity of care
- Attend to the complex needs of the student, maintaining safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
