Tele2 provides care at an acuity level between stepdown and general med-tele, offering an excellent opportunity to build advanced clinical skills.
Although smaller in size, this unit mirrors the patient complexity and clinical expectations of our MPCU/CPCU units, making it ideal for nurses seeking stepdown-level experience in a more close-knit setting. The unit is also now expanded from 18 beds to 24.

Position Details:

Part Time RN Openings (24 hrs per week)

Admission Sources

  • Primarily Emergency Department admissions
  • Some direct admits (not requiring ICU level care)
  • Occasional post-operative admissions

Patient Flow

  • Short stay unit with rapid turnover
  • Approximately:
    • 50% discharge to home or skilled facility
    • 50% may transfer to higher or specialized levels of care if needed

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans

  • Supportive leadership with a new, engaged nurse manager
