How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate direct patient care across diverse specialty units in adherence to all established organizational protocols.
- Implement and continuously monitor patient care plans, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of physician and nursing orders.
- Coordinate all aspects of a patient's journey by serving as the central link for communication and assessment among all disciplines within the healthcare team.
- Communicate and meticulously record all patient conditions, observations, and interventions to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated care plan.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Advanced Life Support . American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Certified Advanced Life Support . American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support . American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care ICU nursing experience demonstrating clinical competency across diverse, high-acuity patient populations.
- Proven ability to successfully navigate and provide autonomous direct care in a multi-unit, float, or resource team environment.
