About the Role

As a CNA/Home Health Aide with Comfort Keepers, you will provide compassionate, dependable care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

You will work closely with clients and their families while following an individualized plan of care. The ideal caregiver is dependable, patient, respectful, and genuinely enjoys helping others.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement.
  • Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding when appropriate.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care.
  • Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan and applicable law.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities when authorized.
  • Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs.
  • Follow individualized care plans and service instructions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
  • Follow appropriate infection-control and safety practices.
  • Communicate regularly with the Comfort Keepers care team.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Protect client privacy and confidentiality.
  • Provide respectful, person-centered care at all times.

Qualifications

  • CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred.
  • Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance when driving is required.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screening.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $19.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, assignment, and applicable shift differentials.
  • Mileage reimbursement for approved business-related travel.
