Key Job Duties and Responsibilities The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect resident care activities under the direction of a licensed nurse. The following are the essential functions of job duties and responsibilities in your position. Duties and Responsibilities Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety and corporate policies and procedures. Comply with the nursing department’s policies and procedures. Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse, neglect, exploitation, misappropriation of resident property, and social media violations immediately to the Administrator or supervisor. Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information. Must develop and maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other departments. Report to work on time and as scheduled. Attend mandatory trainings and meetings. Report any complaints/grievances made by residents to the Grievance Officer or per policy. Assist in admission and discharge of resident. Assist residents in daily oral care.
