Job Summary:

At Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, our mission is to achieve excellence in the care and well-being of each individual we serve. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our evening team, providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents. As a valued member of our team, you will help promote dignity, comfort, and support to our residents, enabling them to reach their highest level of physical, emotional, and psychosocial functioning and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including personal care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and medical treatments as directed by licensed nurses

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatments

  • Assist with mealtime, including serving and feeding residents, as needed

  • Support residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment

  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and standards
