You’ll begin and end each day at the student’s home in Lynn, accompanying her to and from the Beverly School for the Deaf.

What we’re looking for:

Active MA LPN or RN license in good standing
At least 1 year of experience in nursing, preferably in pediatrics or school-based care
Comfortable supporting patients with Type I Diabetes, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students—experience with the deaf or hard-of-hearing community is a plus
Professionalism, punctuality, and a commitment to student safety

Key responsibilities:

Provide attentive, continuous care for the student throughout the school day, including the bus ride to and from school
Monitor and manage diabetes care, respond appropriately to urgent health needs, and maintain clear documentation
Foster a supportive, respectful relationship with the student and collaborate with school staff and family as needed
