Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and energetic Director of Nursing to join our dedicated leadership team!

Qualifications

  • Current RN license required (successful completion of State Board Examination)

Responsible for the ongoing coordination and tracking of Employee Health as necessary. Responsible for the collection and proper disposition/destruction of discontinued resident medications as assigned. Performs other related QA as assigned. Participates in the Nursing Policy and Procedure Committee and assists in the formulation, review, revision and implementation of Nursing policies and procedures. Keeps DON informed of important events, feedback, problems etc. Functions as Nursing Supervisor as needed. Participates in various nursing home committees. Covers the nursing unit in the Absence of the Nurse Managers. Collects all D/C meds for credit return to pharmacy, Collects all D/C controlled substances for recording, storage and destruction as per policy and procedure regulations.
