Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the academic experience of a preschool student with specialized medical needs. Located onsite near Avondale, AZ, this full-time role is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about individualized school-based care.

Your role will focus on 1:1 nursing support for a preschool student with a tracheostomy who requires ongoing aspiration and personal care assistance, including support for non-toilet trained needs. The schedule is designed for work/life balance: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (11:13 AM–2:44 PM), with every other Wednesday offering a half-day rotation (7:15 AM–12:17 PM), aligned with the school calendar. The assignment runs ASAP through May 21, 2026.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, unrestricted Arizona RN license
  • Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care, aspiration techniques, and pediatric caseloads
  • Comfort assisting with hygiene for a non-toilet trained student
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and follow individualized care plans
  • Professionalism, reliability, and compassionate bedside manner
  • Must be able to start as soon as possible
