Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring telemetry expertise and a WI or compact RN license. Job details: - Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with mixed acuity including telemetry, med/surg, and occasional ICU patients - Patient ratio of 1:3-6 - Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30-07:00 - Weekend rotation required with every other holiday worked - Standby call as needed - Floating required as needed - Cerner charting system experience required Requirements: - Active RN license (WI State or Compact) required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) required - Minimum 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU required within the last 3 years - First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit - Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to assignment start - Skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams required Additional information: - Provide nursing care to patients with mixed acuity including cardiac telemetry, step-down, and occasional ICU-level needs - Monitor and manage dysrhythmias and respond using Rapid Response/Code teams as needed - Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted - Free onsite parking available - Reference documentation not required for consideration
