Position available for experienced Registered Nurses passionate about supporting students in an educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity is available for immediate start through May 27, 2027, providing 1:1 nursing care to students requiring American Sign Language (ASL) support.

In this role, you’ll work weekday hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, following the school calendar for a healthy work-life balance. The assignment is at a local elementary campus, where you’ll play a critical part in the daily health and safety of your assigned student.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (LPN credentials cannot be considered)
  • Minimum five years’ experience with tracheostomy care and feeding tube management
  • Proficiency supporting students with ASL needs and the ability to collaborate with educational staff
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Commitment to professionalism, compassion, and student-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 nursing care during the school day for a student utilizing tracheostomy and feeding tube
  • Communicate effectively with students requiring ASL and partner with school staff to ensure access and inclusion
  • Monitor, document, and report on student health status and respond to medical needs with calm expertise
  • Educate and advocate for your student’s needs within the school environment
  • Maintain accurate records, following relevant school and nursing protocols
