We are seeking a dedicated RN or LPN for a full-time contract assignment supporting a student with complex medical needs throughout the academic day. This vital, onsite role is based at Field Middle School, with hours from 8:30 am to 3:40 pm, Monday through Friday.

Your primary focus will be delivering 1:1 nursing support, including G-tube feedings and monitoring the student's overall health status, ensuring their safety and comfort during the school day. The exact assignment duration runs through June 4, 2027, with the flexibility to adapt to changing student attendance and healthcare needs.

Key Qualifications:

Valid RN or LPN license in Illinois
Current CPR and BLS certifications
Prior school nursing experience is a must
Extensive experience supporting students with complex medical needs, especially G-tube feeding
Ability to act independently and manage emergency situations with confidence
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor, assess, and document student health conditions throughout the school day
Administer prescribed treatments and provide specialized care, including G-tube feedings
Collaborate closely with school staff, administrators, and the student’s healthcare team
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding care plans and daily status
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to FERPA/HIPAA policies
