Primary Duties and Responsibilities

RN – Advanced GI Lab Pre/Post Recovery

The Advanced GI Lab Pre/Post Recovery Clinical Nurse I provides specialized nursing care for both inpatient and outpatient populations undergoing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures within the Hoag Digestive Health Institute. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional pre-procedure and post-procedure care while supporting patients undergoing procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EBUS, EGD, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and advanced interventional endoscopy, in a fast-paced, highly specialized procedural environment. The Clinical Nurse I provides comprehensive assessment, monitoring, education, and recovery care throughout the patient journey, ensuring safe and coordinated care from admission through discharge.
