What You’ll Do As a caregiver, you will provide meaningful support to clients by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and cared for in their home. Duties may include personal care, mobility assistance, transfer support, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and following the client’s care plan. For this assignment, we are looking for a caregiver with strong experience in mobility support, safe transfers, wheelchair assistance, and Hoyer lift use. Experience working with clients recovering from a stroke or with similar physical limitations is strongly preferred. For this specific assignment, strong transfer skills are required. The caregiver must be confident assisting with stroke-related care needs and using a wheelchair transfers safely. You may also assist with homemaking tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, and light bathroom cleaning.
