That Medical waste is disposed of properly, rooms are neat and tidy and that patient rounds are made in a timely manner. Gen. Med./Pulmonary Unit Information: 48 bed unit with patients ranging in age from birth to young adulthood. Specialization in respiratory illnesses: asthma, RSV, flu, bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis & pneumonia. Also care for a wide variety of patients with general medical needs including medically complex patients with chronic conditions & behavioral issues. Position we are hiring for: Nightshift and every third weekend Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited CNA Program. Current certification as a CNA in the State of Illinois, active/good standing. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. One year experience in an acute care hospital setting is strongly preferred.
