Job Summary and Responsibilities As a CNA/Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will be a central figure on our patient care team, providing direct, compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals. Reports all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse. Demonstrates clinical/technical expertise in general nursing skills. Manages age-specific needs through appropriate adaptation of interventions (as directed by the licensed nurse). Appropriately utilizes equipment and supplies (including following established policies, procedures, and protocols governing the transport, handling, and storage of intravenous fluids) in the care of the patient.
