They practice according to their licensure, certification, and expertise to provide anesthesia-related care as specified below: 1. Performing and documenting a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of patient, including diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering or administering pre-anesthetic medications or fluids, and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia. 2.
