Job Overview The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Lead serves as a front-line clinical and operational leader, responsible for supervising and managing the performance of a defined group of APPs at CHCO and/or partner sites. This role is accountable for safe, efficient, high-quality site-based care delivery, while modeling expert clinical practice and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The APP Lead oversees daily site operations, including staffing, workflow optimization, and real-time problem solving to maintain continuity of care. They drive team performance, engagement, and development through onboarding, training, coaching, and competency assessment. In collaboration with physician leaders, APP peers, and senior leadership, the APP Lead advances strategic, clinical, and operational initiatives and supports the development and standardization of policies, procedures, and practice standards. The APP Lead also serves as the primary contact for site operations, care escalation, and APP program matters, facilitating communication and alignment across teams and leadership. In addition to this role, the Neonatal Advanced Practice Lead (APP) will also fulfill their respective APP job description for all clinical time. Collaborates with peer Leads and department leadership to align and execute key leadership initiatives and priorities, supporting progress, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
