Collaboration: Work closely with a rheumatologist, medical scribes, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Coordinate care with specialists and assist in referrals as needed. Patient Education: Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to improve quality of life. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with practice policies and legal requirements. Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest research, treatment options, and clinical guidelines in rheumatology. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the NCCPA. Experience: 1+ years experience in rheumatology required. Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex patient cases.
